reopening plan

We have prayerfully worked through how we can all meet and worship together in person, safely and wisely. Bethel’s mission is still, "inviting everyone to experience God’s best," so we continue to be committed to every service being the best worship experience it can be while submitting to God’s direction and wisdom for us all. Deciding how to move forward was complex, so we continue to monitor CDC guidelines for our communities, seek recommendations from trusted professionals and PRAY! We believe this gradual reopening plan for Bethel is the best approach towards an eventual full gathering some time in the future.

Who CAN attend services?
Everyone can attend, but pre-registration is required due to limited seating capacity. There will be no bKids classes during Phase 1 so parents should choose what’s best for their families.

Who CANNOT attend services?
If you test positive for COVID-19, you must be at least 14 days symptom free and/or negative test results.
If you have COVID-19 symptoms of any kind (cough, fever, shortness of breath).
If you have come in contact with someone with symptoms or test positive.

How will Bethel ensure social distancing in auditorium?
Ushers will seat everyone 6’ apart from each other and every other row will be blocked off. Families (those residing in the same home) can sit together. Signage upon entry and throughout the building are in place to ensure safe distances are kept.

Should I wear a mask?
YES! We will not be able to accommodate entry for anyone not wearing a mask. Masks must be worn the entire time you're in the building.

How is the building being cleaned/sanitized?
Protocols are in place to clean common areas (auditorium, restrooms, etc.) with approved cleaning agents after every service and during the week as Staff uses these areas.

What happens when I come to Bethel for service?
We want this to be YOUR experience with God.  When you arrive, enter through the front doors only. Next, a greeter will check you in and take your temperature. If you do not have a high temperature, an usher will seat you in the auditorium and worship will begin shortly after.

How do I register to attend service?
The registration link will be provided on Bethel’s social media pages and website at the end of March.

Do I need to register to attend service?
Yes, because seating is limited in order to keep to social distancing guidelines, we will not be able to let anyone in who has not pre-registered and received confirmation.

Can I still watch services online?
Yes. We understand that not everyone will feel comfortable just yet returning to gather in person. We’d love for you to still connect with us through our online services on Facebook, YouTube, and our website.

Can I give my offering when I arrive for services?
Offering baskets will not be passed so we suggest giving through the PushPay app. However, if you prefer to give in person, you can place in the offering box located in the lobby.

Will the bathrooms be open?
Yes, only one set of bathrooms will be open. Look for signage throughout the building.

Will there be bKids/bYouth classes?
Not at initial reopening launch. We are working on plans for our children to return to classes late Spring 2021.

What happens when services end?
We know we all want to hang out, however, we are asking everyone to keep social distancing while exiting to the parking lot through the front doors.

What other ways can you connect at Bethel?

  • Prayer Zoom Calls with our Pastors start in March through Easter giving everyone an opportunity to pray live privately and corporately.
  • Prayer Facebook Page is a growing community of prayer warriors ready to encourage you through prayer.
