reopening plan

We have prayerfully worked through how we can all meet and worship together in person, safely and wisely. Bethel’s mission is still, "inviting everyone to experience God’s best," so we continue to be committed to every service being the best worship experience it can be while submitting to God’s direction and wisdom for us all. With Philadelphia lifting  COVID capacity restrictions, as of June 2, 2021, we're excited to announce we're expanding our auditorium capacity  to accommodate more people...we look forward to seeing more of our Bethel family on Sundays.

No Registration Required

We welcome you, your family and friends to join us for our in-person Sunday services at 9:30 AM or 11 AM! Following guidance from the City of Philadelphia, registration for Bethel's services is no longer required.

Friendly Reminders...

  • bYouth Middle School is offered during our 9:30 AM service
  • bKids is offered during our 11 AM service
  • bYouth High School (will kick off during our 11 AM service later in June)

Who CAN attend services?
Everyone can attend. With the City of Philadelphia removing capacity restrictions, registration for services is no longer required.

Who CANNOT attend services?
If you test positive for COVID-19, you must be at least 14 days symptom free and/or negative test results.
If you have COVID-19 symptoms of any kind (cough, fever, shortness of breath).
If you have come in contact with someone with symptoms or test positive.

Should I wear a mask?
In following the City of Philadelphia's most recent reinstatement of the mask mandate, masks are required.

How is the building being cleaned/sanitized?
Protocols are in place to clean common areas (auditorium, restrooms, etc.) with approved cleaning agents after every service and during the week as Staff uses these areas.

Do I need to register to attend service?
No. Registration for either of Bethel's two services is no longer required.

Can I still watch services online?
Yes. We understand that not everyone will feel comfortable just yet returning to gather in person. We’d love for you to still connect with us through our online services on Facebook, YouTube, and our website.

Can I give my offering when I arrive for services?
Offering baskets will not be passed so we suggest giving through the PushPay app. However, if you prefer to give in person, you can place in the offering box located in the lobby.

Will the bathrooms be open?
Yes, only one set of bathrooms will be open. Look for signage throughout the building.

Will there be bKids/bYouth classes?
Yes. bYouth now meet at the 9:30 AM service.  Our bKids classes are held during the 11 AM service.

What other ways can you connect at Bethel?

  • Prayer Zoom Calls with our Pastors start in March through Easter giving everyone an opportunity to pray live privately and corporately.
  • Prayer Facebook Page is a growing community of prayer warriors ready to encourage you through prayer.
